Art Exhibition 2018
The Art Exhibition attracted 400 visitors this year, keen to see work produced by students who have just completed courses in Art and Design, Textiles, Graphics, Photography and 3D.
The Exhibition was visited by students, teachers, families and the wider community and it showcased work by students who studied GCSE and A level courses. The Exhibition also celebrated the success of particular students, who won prizes for technical ability, improvement and dedication. Prizes went to James Frost, Emma Styles, Chelsea Dunn, Zainab Iqbal, Kim Rickards, James Travell, Lily Hansford, and overall prize-winner Anya Naumovic, who took the trophy for Endeavour.
Mrs Hearne-Assistant Headteacher for The Creative Curriculum said:
"We are very proud of all our students who have work tirelessly to produce work of an extremely high standards. Also a huge thank you goes to the teachers and parents who have supported them."
Headteacher, Mr Ed Hillyard attended this event for the first time and stated: “I am blown away by the quality of work and the different media on display. The students have worked extremely hard and have responded really well to feedback. Expect to see some of these names in the future!”
