Voice
At Holmer Green Senior School, we believe listening to the views of students, parents and staff is an integral way for the school to continue to improve. Like all communities, we serve a diverse range of individuals, all of whom have a right to their opinions and views. We aim to listen to all, but know we can not always please everyone. Our values of working hard, being kind, and having passion help guide our next steps.
Student voice is collected through an annual attitudinal survey, year councils, a student council, Sixth form working party, Sixth form head student team and many other student voice exercises within departments, etc.
Parent voice is collected through parents’ evenings, attendance at various school events, annual surveys, as well as through our Parents' Association.
Staff voice is collected through evaluations of staff training, briefings, staff surveys, minutes from a range of meetings, as well as a staff forum which meets half termly.
Governance voice is collected through a variety of governor meetings, attendance to numerous school events and governor days.
We see the above voice as an integral part of our continued school improvement journey.
