We are delighted to announce that Zainab Iqbal, who gained two A* grades in Art and Art Textiles A Level last year has been shortlisted as a finalist for The Education Art Prize 2018 - Specialist Crafts.  Zainab's textile suitcase based on WW2 has been selected and shortlisted from thousands of entries nationally.

Zainab has been offered a one day workshop with prestigious artist Jennifer Collier along with the other finalists. The winner will be announced in February.

Zainab completed the full A level course for textiles in one year, making  the suitcase piece as a preparatory piece for  the exam.

We are incredibly proud of Zainab who joins many other national competition winners in the art subjects at HGSS.
