We currently have 20 governors at Holmer Green Senior School.
Their names and the offices they hold are listed below.
Governors at Holmer Green Senior serve a four year term of office and play an important part in the strategic management of the school.
The Governing Body is vital to our success
- Governors make important decisions about school life
- Governors’ decisions directly affect the education and well-being of children
- Governors can really make a difference in improving standards throughout the school
They play a part in improving our children’s education and supporting the staff here at the school. No specialised skills are needed, just being a parent and caring about the school is enough.
Governors act as a team and, as such, the amount of time that each of them gives to the role will vary. We have five Governing Body meetings over three terms, and all Governors serve on one of the more detailed sub-committees.
More information about school governorship can be found on the a Bucks County Council website left hand side, then ‘Schools’ and ‘Governors’.
