SCHOOL UNIFORM LIST

We have been notified by our uniform supplier PMG that, due to an increase in raw materials, they will need to increase the cost of our PE Tops by £3.00.  PMGhave asked us to advise parents that this price increase will take effect from 1st December 2012.

Both boys and girls are permitted to wear a navy blue sweatshirt (with the school logo) on top of a plain white shirt, as an alternative to the school blazer. Students can have both the sweatshirt and blazer if they choose or opt for one of these items. 

The PE sweatshirt is grey with the school logo.

The rest of our uniform is listed in detail below.

Girls:

§ Navy blue Blazer with school badge, or
School navy sweatshirt with logo (No Polo shirts with blazers)

§ Plain white shirt with school tie covering top button, or
White Polo shirt with logo
(Patterned T-shirts may not be worn underneath shirts or polos)

§ Black skirt (length to be no shorter than 2” above the knee)
The skirt must not be tight-fitting lycra or have a slit, or

§ Black, classic and tailored trousers in non-stretch material (‘bootleg’ style – not ‘skinny’ or ‘drainpipe’)

§ Plain black or white socks to be worn with skirts, or
Plain black tights with no pattern, or
Plain black or grey socks to be worn with trousers

 

Boys:

§ Navy blue Blazer with school badge, (No Polo shirts with blazers) or
School navy sweatshirt with logo

§ Plain white shirt with school tie, covering top button, or
White Polo shirt with logo
(Patterned T-shirts may not be worn underneath shirts or polos)

§ Black, classic, straight-legged tailored school trousers
The trousers must be worn at waist level so shirts can be
tucked in and no underwear can be seen

§ Black or grey socks

  

Footwear:

§ Black, plain and sensible with black laces, and low heels

§ No thin or high heels are acceptable, for obvious reasons

§ No UGG or other boots, canvas shoes or trainers may be worn

§ Shoes should be suitable for both indoor and outdoor use

 

Jewellery / Accessories:

§ Belts, if worn, should be plain black with a discreet buckle

§ Earrings: one plain stud may be worn in each ear. No ear plugs, stretchers or tunnels are permitted

§ Any jewellery worn must be able to be removed for health and
safety reasons

§ It is the responsibility of students and their parent(s) to plan any
ear-piercing to coincide with an appropriate holiday, so that removal
is not an issue. Students refusing to remove jewellery if requested
will face sanctions

§ No obvious make-up or nail varnish is allowed. Extreme hairstyles are not permitted, such as: dyeing in non-natural colours or beading. Girls’ hairbands or headscarves must be black, navy blue or white

 

Physical Activities:

§ White T-shirt with school logo

§ White trainers with non-marking soles and white socks

§ Navy blue shorts

§ (Boys only): Blue rugby shirt

§ Grey sweatshirt with logo

§ Football and (boys) rugby boots

§ Navy football socks                               (Optional): School tracksuit with logo

All clothing to be clearly marked with owner’s name.
