Media Studies GCSE is a fascinating two year course covering research and study into the world of Media. Topics include: newspapers; magazines; television; film; comics; cartoons and animations; pop music; advertising and marketing; radio.
Key stage 4. We follow the WJEC course, which consists of three controlled assessments (two textual investigations and one media production) and one external assessment.
Additional information. During the course, a visit is undertaken, to the Guardian newsroom, the BBC or similar and a range of outside speakers undertake workshops with students.
