All students in Year 11 have the opportunity to apply for the post of Prefect which is designed to develop leadership skills as well as further develop our students’ sense of responsibility and commitment to their school.
Prefects have regular duties to perform and are expected to act as ambassadors for the school as and when the need arises. Aside from these, Prefects are also expected to lead activities and many of our fund raising events. This November, the Prefect team ran our Children In Need Fund Raising Day with a Western themed dress code (eagerly adopted by staff as well as students!) and a barbecue stall. Stalls, activities and food raised in excess of £1,000.
